Profile and Contents
The continuous training of high-school teachers requires specialization programs, courses, working groups, workshops, materials, discussion forums to update in higher education quality teaching. It is thus that the Dirección General del Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades complies with this task of contributing to the construction of knowledge. Eutopía, the journal of the CCH (Colegio of Sciences and Humanities), promotes the dissemination of academic progress in disciplines that are of interest to their different academic communities.
Target Public
The intended audience includes teachers and administrative personnel of educational institutions at upper high-school level. It is also read by those teaching at other educational levels and by researchers and students as well.
History
Eutopía (second era) was published in January, 2007, to provide a forum dedicated to the analysis of high-school education in Mexico. A little over three years of uninterrupted publication highlights the collaboration of prestigious national and international researchers and academics, such as José Blanco, Frida Díaz-Barriga, Ángel Díaz Barriga, Rollin Kent, Olac Fuentes Molinar, Carlota Guzmán, Mario Rueda, Lorenza Villa Lever, Eduardo Weiss and Carlos Zarzar, just to mention a few.
